Welcome to The Los Angeles Joomla, and Web CMS Meetup
We're interested in Joomla, one of the most successful open source Content Management Systems out there!
Our meeting will cover Joomla workflows, installs, configuration, and other operational topics
in web site deployment and maintenance.
Our meetups usually will start with an introduction going around to everyone in the group.
We'll then launch into the topic for that particular Meetup and also cover basic Joomla, and to a large extent basic web CMS operational topics, such as installation, templates, customization, informational structuring and publishing workflow, as well as other topics of interest.
This is our first Meetup and as such we'll spend some time going around introducing everyone.
We'll follow this up with a basic introduction to Joomla and the CMS model.
Touching on points such as installation, initial configuration, and customization.
At that point we'll have some discussion and answer each other's questions.
