1:00 PM - 1:30 PM Networking
At 1:00 PM, Members are free to leave, or stick around to ask questions, discuss ideas or socialize. If the group wishes to continue the Noon discussion, that's OK too. Bring business cards and share contact information with other folks in the room too.
JoomlaChicago is an "all together different" kind of software community. Our focus is on education, however, we strongly encourage folks to build up their personal and professional network. While we support both personal and professional growth, we are first and foremost a learning group, focused on enhancing our members' skillset, to make for a healthier, happier Joomla community.
We are NOT a "leads group," and won't tolerate Spamming of our Members. If you join this group, we ask that you please plan on attending at least six meetings a year. You can unsubscribe at any time from the Meetup.com list, and still feel free to be a part of the online community if you wish.
Also, if you would like to set up another live "meetup" meeting in the Loop or throughout Chicagoland, please let us know. Our goal is to make learning Joomla as convenient as we can for our members.
Further questions? Feel free to contact me, or go to the JoomlaChicago Forum and post your questions, concerns or suggestions there. However you're most comfortable reaching us, please do so!
Thank you,
John Coonen

(Host's Note: We are implementing Meetup.com in April, 2008. The Meetup system reports this is the first monthly meeting by default; however, it is our 7th meeting. Also, Meetup only "counts" members who join via Meetup. We currently have over 125 registered members.)
