Thanks for the feedback. I don't know whether we'll ever be able to capture the kind of incredible energy in that room again, but it was magic for many people. I was just floored - totally unexpected and dumbfounded by the outpouring of people who just FELT like they were indeed part of something big. The glow will fade a bit in time as things do, but I can't thank everyone enough for all the support and willingness to just jump in and help make it even better.

    THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!

Who attended?

    •  The excitement of Joomla users was palpable. And I learned much about how others use, and what others use Joomla for. Interesting to see the work and strategies of early adopters, and how the sphere is constantly evolving and changing in reaction to global collaboration needs. Would have liked to see more vendors, even by weblink. More examples of sites that use Joomla in interesting and successful ways.
    •  We filled out evaluations on site. My overall comments were: great speakers, attendees, and food. Also, the open bar plus appetizers were of quality and substance, amounting to a meal.

This was the most unique open source conference I have attended. Very synergistic mix of artists, maraketing communications talent, developers, administrators and hosters. For an open source conference, it had a curious mix of extensions, templates etc with their monetization models and associated marketing business advice on how to make money with them. I was expecting a regional cluster of attendees but found people as far away as Malaysia.
